President
A partner at Smith, Wiles & Co. since 1995, Dwight Wiles has experienced the music business first-hand. Having always possessed a passion and enthusiasm for music, he began his career as a DJ and concert promoter during his college days. He later moved on to become an established personal manager and a financial advisor to recording artists. His education as a C.P.A. -- who also holds an M.B.A. -- combined with his hands-on experience in the music business, makes him uniquely qualified to represent his clients in an informed and well-rounded way.

CHIP PETREE
General Manager & Vice President, Business Affairs
As a solo practitioner specializing in transactional work in the music and entertainment industries, Petree represents a diverse group of artists, songwriters, and music publishers, as well as technology and e-commerce companies. From 2000 to 2002 he practiced technology law in Silicon Valley, and prior to that served in the in-house legal departments at the RIAA, BMG and MTV Networks, where he was primary counsel to CMT.
